Photoshopped

Oooh didn't I tell you? A little bling around the neck, along with those big sparkly earrings, and Kate Middleton looks awesome! I photoshopped this great Tom Binns necklace around her neck, and it looks great!

Kate Middleton April 26 Evening Event

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, attended the new galleries of the Imperial War Museum in London on April 26, 2012. Now, I'm not exactly sure why Kate changed out of the pretty blue suit she wore earlier today, because this little number is BORING, PLAIN and DULL. At least she put her hair half-up, but here's the joke: there's nothing to see!!! How about a little scarf or a brooch, your Duchessness?
Or better yet.......drumroll.....how about some COLOR???? For some reason I got the idea Kate would look awesome in bright orange. With her dark hair and green eyes, orange, done right, could look fab on her. So I took the grey Amanda Wakely dress into Photoshop and put some color on it. Which one do you prefer?
(Yellow looked awful, btw.)

Or how about a statement necklace to jazz up this boring look? I'm thinking something like this Tom Binns Dumont Swarovski Crystal, with a skinny silver belt.

And we still need to work on that posture. (Image courtesy of imageupper.com)

Kate at Goldsmith Hall, April 26, 2012

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, visited London's Goldsmith's Hall on Thursday, wearing a deep blue Rebecca Taylor suit, in a tweedy fabric with frayed seams.
Other than the frayed seams, which I despise, I thought this was a nice look. Professional, with a touch of Chanel style, and paired with greyish heels and an Anya Hindmarch clutch, the look was saved from being dull by the floral embellishments at the neckline. Of course, you couldn't really see those embellishments, just as you couldn't see the poppy brooch, because of that hair. Push it back, Katherine. Really, it's not doing you any favors to have those two huge hunks of hair hanging down your frontside. Yes, you have beautiful hair -- we GET IT --but you are more than your hair. If you're going to showcase designer clothes, then showcase them. Honestly, sometimes I think I'm talking to an unruly 5 year old. (image courtesy the Daily Mail)

Kate Middleton Duchess of Cambridge at African Cats Premiere

Catherine, along with her husband Prince William, attended the premiere of the Guy Ritchie movie "African Cats", a documentary that highlights Africa's threatened wildlife. The charity screening raised funds for the Duke's UK-based animal conservation charity Tusk Trust.
Kate wore a Matthew Williamson lilac grey dress with three-quarter-length sleeves and turquoise and gold beaded details around the neck and sleeves. She added her ubiquitous clutch bag (which she always clutches, as if it's her security blankie), a pair of Kiki McDonough earrings (the ‘Kiki Classic’ Blue Topaz and Diamond Earrings) and some heavy dark grey heels. The earrings are awesome, and my imagination runs away with me when thinking about what great outfits might be inspired by these colors. The dress itself has some interesting detailing - a peplum waist and those turquoise and gold stones save it from severity. I rather like it, although the pale lilac/grey is kind of an old-lady color. And -- dare I say it -- Katherine looks like she might have put on four or five pounds. Looks good on her. Okay, so here are my quibbles. I don't mind Kate wearing her hair down. She has beautiful hair. But please push it behind you so it isn't obscuring the few details of the outfit. Also, the shoes are way too clunky for springtime and for this light colored outfit. I took the liberty of photoshopping my changes and came up with this
Doesn't the whole look just seem cleaner when her hair isn't hanging down the front of her dress? And how about some cute springy shoes in turquoise?
What do you think?
